It's funny you mention that Buick, since it is indeed my test car of the
week, the one I took yesterday to experience the pushbutton kill function
and the WOT braking... and mine is Gold too !

Not too bad a car indeed, it reminded me of an Audi A6 in fact, but only
about the equipment level, not the ride...

Funny story (MAC) - I recently rented a 2010 Buick LaCrosse (yes, I know
what the name signifies in French Canadian,
Louis-Alain!) for a trip to Maine. My son and I stopped at the Mass Pike
rest area in Charlton to grab some dinner. Came
out and saw that the trunk was wide open. Nothing missing, fortunately. On
the way home from Orono, we stopped in
Newport ME for lunch. Someone came into the restaurant saying that a gold
Buick's alarm was going off. I went out and
shut it off. Turns out the fob buttons were pretty sensitive and could be
turn on just by the pressure of a (ahem) butt cheek!
Needless to say, the keys were not stored in my back-pocket after that. AC -
my Audi fob isn't that sensitive.
