Some of these must have been barely drive-able.  Like the Aston martin DB7,
1998 Jag XK8, Land rover Defender (I still see these go for 20k), the 2008
Ford Mustang.  There is even a 1997 Rolls Royce.  Otherwise the owner
wouldn't have taken the deal.  And even if they wanted to, the dealer would
have offered them more for a trade-in.

Even if they were totally trashed, it is sad to see the parts become
unavailable.

 From another list, here's a link to a PDF that lists the Clunkers that were
traded in (in the US) for the $4500. Lots of Audis in the list, including
A8s and newer S4s and a 2006 Cabrio! Doh!
