Louis-Alain,
Since you will probably be looking at them, a couple of things. Check
the cam chain tensioner seals for leakage. These usually get done with
the TB and WP, so those should be done as well. They usually start
leaking around 70K. Also, any late model VAG product should have the
oil pan dropped and the pickup tube cleaned every 60K or so. Sludge
(actually more like Carbon particles) will slowly plug it, and the
results aren't pretty. Trust me, I've seen and cleaned plenty.
Replaced a few heads and complete engines also. On the V6, the nice
thing is you can just drop the steel oil pan, as opposed to the 1.8T
where the engine has to be supported and the subframe dropped.
