95 a6q alternator questions.

Looks like my alternator is not fond of this hot weather in South Carolina. The following problem is most prevalent in 92+ degree weather... 

With no AC / Lights, it charges at around 14 volts (values approximate). Run AC and blower motor while driving and it's around 13 volts. With AC and blower motor running at idle (stop light), it's barely pushing 12 volts, although this does jump up to nearly 13 volts when I bump the gas pedal.

With the AC and blower motor running with the headlights on, it's around 13v while driving and can dip below 12 volts at a stop light.

I replaced the serpentine belt today thinking that the old belt was sliding on the alternator pully when the engine speed was low and alternator load was high, thus providing a lot of resistance, but that swap was only a minor success.

Is the likely culprit the voltage regulator, or do I need to look elsewhere... could cooling fans be providing too much resistance, etc?

Anyone know where to get a reasonably-priced Voltage Regulator if this one is nearly toast?
