New project - shocks

Thanks to all who have replied.
The shocks that are now in place have about 40k on them. Total on car is
about 220k.
When I push the car in a downward motion, the front hardly moves on the
passenger side and both sides of the rear go down and then settles ok. No up
and down bounce. I weigh 250 so the car should move some.
I am concerned about the pass. front, very little movement. IMHO when
shocks get weak and don't support because they have lost their oil/gas, the
shaft should move up and down very easily. Same with the springs, they
should get weaker as they age. Can a shock freeze?
I don't hear any clunking or squishing as they deflect and return to normal
height.
Al
