I keep the car standing for long periods of time in the winter. Temperature
tomorrow will be above freezing. I'll try tomorrow to start the car. I
should have bought the charger years ago. Strange that every year at the 7
December I need a boost for the Audi, after having sitting outside for 3
days without running the motor. Never had problem with the spark plugs or
frozen fuel line. The tech from CAA thought if was fuel line or spark plugs.

If the problem is plugs or fuel line, charging the battery isn't going to
help you start it. Just going to help
you sit and crank it over for a longer period before the battery dies.....

Hi all,
Car cranked over slowly this morning. Last started Sunday quickly and ran
car for 10 minutes. When car this morning didn't start, phoned CAA. Could
not get car started. CAA tech said spark plugs may be wet, or frozen fuel
line. Bought battery charger today at Can Tire on sale for $40.00 from
$60.00, Charging now at 2A. Choice of 10A charge as well. Try car tomorrow
to start.
1986 Type 44 Turbo Quattro. 311.000 km. Battery installed 07.Dec.2007.
