ISTR the wiring for the changer is in the service manual ... as noted in the earlier response, the CD signal comes in as an FM station. This means that with the Delta all you get on the dash display is the frequency of the modulator, not disk & track. Since the changer is separate it should be possible to modify to wire in the iPod. The interface is under/behind the passenger side dash (my car had the hardware installed by a dealer in a slightly non-standard fashion). You'll need some sort of switch to enable the RF switches.

My solution was to go to the Gamma, with the 10 disk changer. I understand there's a way to interface this setup to an iPod.

I've done the cassette adapter before, I guess it is simple, but it isn't particularly convenient.

Subject: v8 audio question
To: <quattro at audifans.com>

Hello All,

I have just revived a 2 owner 150k 91 v8q. Blue/ platnum comfort.
Very well maintained, but bad fuel and older owners almost sent it to be flattened..
New fuel pump, filter, injectors and passed CA smog and on the road. Maybe $1000 into it? Back on the slippery slope.

To the question. The changer in the trunk isn't working. The remote says e3.. No biggy, as all the music is in my ipod. Cd's are in the shed collecting dust. I was wondering if anyone know the wiring of the pin connector connected to the remote? It seems that all the connections to integrate the ipod into the delta should be there. Rather than the cassette adaptor, or a whole new system.

Anyone btdt?

TIA,
Paul
