Many have found the wires impossible to solder. I found that some soldering flux on the wire first makes them behave. Either way it's no small task to get the seat cover off and back on. Taking the seat out takes 10 minutes, repairing or replacing the element takes 10 minutes, breaking down the seat is the other 2 hours.
