HD crash-NAC

i have recently seen a rash of HD failures that follow a pattern: they 
wont s[pin up, but given sufficient current, they occasionally do.

So sometimes you can try things like putting them in a different 
enclosure, tapping them, cleaning power contacts, etc.  All you need is 
once to read the data and be on your way.
