why we drive old cars (was Toyota UA-LAC)

The car in general, has been great. There have only been two things
I've done to it other than routine maintenance. They are the water
pump (at just over 100K) and the rear speaker grilles. Aparently, the
grilles are a common problem, as you can buy them cheap in any color
on ebay.

Despite its' incredible reliability, I would not even think for one
moment of replacing the old Audi with it. This is due to the fact that
the car drives like a refrigerator. As in, boooooooring.

However, the point I was making with the post about the car was that
with the cable throttle, as opposed to the drive by wire, there seem
to be no problems. If you look at the list of cars, they are all drive
by wire. The Camry was changed in 07, with the redesign.
