The transmission clutch uses brake fluid...not hydraulic fluid.
Hydraulic fluid is only used for the brake and steering servos.

It's one of the reasons bleeding the brake fluid (including the
clutch) is important- if the brake fluid absorbs too much moisture,
you're looking at rust in the master and slave cylinders.
