Keep the dust seals/boots clean of debris (once in spring should suffice)
with brake cleaner (especially before pushing them back in, then lubrcate
with synthetic brake grease (I use 3M, but Permatex makes one).  I.E. just
keep them clean and lubricated, then you shouldn't have issues.

It really does take disassembly once per year (or more often) because those
inner pistons don't seem to get clean in the car wash, even the manual one.
