I wouldn't call Gross Scruggs "some uneducated, uniformed idiot" Brett. I first met Gross via this mail list in the late 1990s when he lived here in California and consider him a friend. At the time he was teaching this avionics stuff for the Navy at the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA. We miss him since he and his family moved back east (I think to Maryland where it would not surprise me if he still teaches this stuff to our Military). Gross is arguably the most knowledgeable person on this mail list on the topic subject matter he posted. Have you taught any avionics classes for the military lately?
