[s-cars] Racing jack

I never trust a hydraulic device to work "under". I usually use jack stands and leave the jack locked in place for insurance.
I'm a bit overkill on this as one of my dad' friends was cut in half by a failed hydraulic cylinder accident.
You don't forget that sort of thing. I've never known it to happen again, but once is enough for me.

Yeah, I have a Sears 3 ton (that came with the house, as well as an engine
oist) for work in the garage. And I'd never trust the HF jack for under car
ork. Jack stands always.

price of the FLAPS AC Delco for the same features. Comparing the 2 65dollar
jacks means HF loses it's price appeal.

In the grand scheme of things, these race jacks are great for tire swaps
and light/quick/track maintenance type stuff, but I use my 3 ton steel
monsters and 6 ton jack stands for anything requiring undercar work.

Guess my "earlier" HF jack became the AC Delco jack. My HF jack has all
of those features, although the lifting arm has shifted slightly vs. the
frame. Retorqued everything and it has worked correctly since but it's
 somewhat off center.
