Nonfabric Headliner Options

Can't see why not, as long as you use an adequate paint. The early Audi
type 44's had a hard shell head liner with no fabric. There's no need
for high temp or BBQ paint, if the interior gets above 700 degrees,
you've probably got a Bose amp and the headliner will be the least of
your worries.
