i was looking at putting B7 brakes on my B6...there are many options. A
reply i received is as follows:

"Caveat: As I've now been able to source a set of StopTechs, I now fully
understand why everyone says, "just save and BUY THEM" cause they really are
that awesome.

But they're not for everyone and this I understand. That said, here ya go.

OEM Brake Info
B6 A4 1.8t- Same Caliper as B6A4 3.0
Front Rotor: 288x25, 8E0 615 301Q
Carrier: 4B0 615 125B
Rear Rotor: 245x10 or 255x12

To check size of rear rotor, remove and check part #:
* 8E0 615 601 P = 245x10mm
* 8E0 615 601 D = 255x12mm

B6 A4 3.0- Same Caliper as B6A4 1.8t
* Front Rotor: 312x25, 8E0 615 301R
* Carrier: 4B0 615 125 C
* Rear Rotor: 255x12

B5 S4
* Front Rotor: 321x30
* Rear Rotor: 256x22

B6 S4- Same Caliper Carrier as B7 S4
* Front Rotor: 345x30
* Rear Rotor: 300x22

B7 A4- Same Caliper as B7 S4, different carrier
* Front Rotor: 320x30
* Rear Rotor: 288x12

B7 S4- Same Caliper as B7 A4, same carrier as B6 S4
* Front Rotor: 345x30
* Rear Rotor: 300x20

B6 S4 Caliper vs. B7 A4/S4 Caliper
* Physically interchangeable, the edge of the caliper facing the back of the
wheel protrudes farther on the B7 caliper, which could interfere with some
wheel fitments.
