Too Many Audis, Need Advice To Thin The Herd--Not a FS Post (Yet) and Long

That Allroad is going to put the hurt on you at some point. Torque converter
failures are common, as well as air suspension bits, blower motors, etc. As
someone who just traded a 2003 Allroad (66k miles) for a brandy new toyota
sienna, perhaps I'm biased, but this is my observation. The allroad is built
to a much lower standard longevity wise than earlier cars. My 1995.5 S6 with
174k has less squeaks and rattles, and is much easier to fix. The allroad
showed wear on most of the interior painted surfaces, the S6 only on the
sunroof knob. The overall feel of the older car is of much higher quality
construction, although the newer one is much more refined in many ways.
I'd ditch the allroad, and the 90, and perhaps the A6Q as well. I do not
regret the Toyota purchase one bit. It gets better mileage than the Allroad,
has loads more room, handles better in day to day driving, is much quieter,
and, (believe it or not) has about the same amount of grunt as the AR.
