Brake Bleeder Screw

I'm sure it's been said before-
Use a small hammer like a ball peen and tap the surrounding area at least
100 times. The small shocks tend to break the threads lose.
I will hold the wrench on the bleeder and apply light torque while tapping
not on the bleeder or wrench, but just in the general area on the caliper or
wheel cylinder.

Damn bleeder screws!!

The one in the rear passenger-side broke off, leveled with the caliper
housing on my '85 VW QSW.

Yes, I did put plenty of penetrating oil, everyday for three days prior to
attempt uncrewing it but to no avail.

Took the driller out and with proper drill-bit drilled out most of the
remainder stuck portion without getting to the threads themselves in the
housing. Some of the threads did get damaged but was good enough to tap and
still use a same-size bleedering screw.

It took me sometime, however, to get it done!!
