Unlike the German made radios, which never really go to a permanent
lockout, this one does. None of the usual suspects work, powering
overnight, freezing etc.
There's no way to make it come back without special flashing (think
rebuilt exchange, IF anyone still does it) once it's locked, so check
everywhere you can for a code, then give whatever might work a try.
After which, you'll have a doorstop. If you want to make bookends, I'll
send you one of my dead ones. ;-)
Factory code is 1111. The first digit is always either blank or a 1.
Good news, as you already know, if that far superior units are plug/play
in the 90Q. FleaBay is your friend.
BCNU,
Yahoo nuked my website with no warning.
