If you let it cure first, it will be fine. Or for that matter, some of the
"sensor safe" stuff will work fine. The problem with Silicone is that it
gives off acetic acid during curing. If you wait until it's completely cured
( a few hours to a few days, depending on the thickness) it will no longer
be emitting acetic acid, and will not damage your oxygen sensor.
