How to R&R 5KTQ ignition switch?

Well,, now that you mention it, would be interested in knowing how to R&R both the mechanical and electrical part.

I removed the lower dash skins and with my right hand I pushed the electrical part up against the housing (mechanical) part and was able to start the car.

Prior to that, I kinda had to work the key, (wiggle) in order to make it start and on Saturday nothing did the trick.

So I supposed the electrical part went bad?
