The only car I've owned that I miss and wish I still had was my 1974
Mazda RX2.  Check the gas and add a quart of oil every 100 miles.  But
she'd wind up like a turbine and give a Q a run for the money in the grip
dept.  A 12 cylinder boxer, a 3 cylinder 2 stroke, and a rotary engine
are something everyone should drive at least once in their lifetime. 
Like a Q, it's all worth it when you let the ole girl stretch her legs. 
The early RX's may have burned some earl, but unlike the later RX7's, you
didn't have to get the front end 3 feet off the ground with the plugs out
and hope for a breeze if she flooded. ;-)
