5 cylinder Mercedes Benz?

Chevy is making a 5 cylinder now, I think they call it the Vortec  3400 (I 
could be wrong on the designation. They make it as a 4, 5 and 6. I think  
the 6 is the Vortec 4200). It is a pretty advanced design and is supposed to 
be  available as a turbo, sometime soon. Presently, I think they only  use it 
 in their SUV models. As I understood the article, it is replaceable but 
not  really dealer repairable. Sort of like the Taurus SHO and the Corvette ZR 
 series.
