2005 TT headlamp wiring : US same as EU ?

A friend of mine looks to buy some LED lamps for his 2005 TT. The seller is
in UK, but asks the questions bellow.

 

Anyone knows if the wiring for North America is the same as the European ?

 

Please answer to the list, and copy Andre-Martin too.

I think I have everything clear now but 1 big assumption is that the Euro
headlamp wiring is the same as yours.  Is there any way you can get the
wiring confirmed? I need to know the wiring at the headlamp connector end.

 

It is probably the same as EU but the last thing I want is to build your
lamps and they dont work correctly, How did your enquire go regarding
somebody trying EU headlamps?

 

I can send you the wiring of the EU lamps, maybe somebody there can confirm
they are the same?
