All the new Audis use an electronic oil level indicator available from
the on-board computer. There is still a dipstick tube, just with a
plug covering it vs. an actual dipstick.

Wow, this is whack. Pretty soon they are just going to eliminate the opening hood altogether....

I have little-to-no consumption on my car. I change the oil every 5k miles religiously. When I bought
the car new, I asked the salesman about break-in, and he said 'drive it like you're going to drive it'
from Day One. The only thing he said I needed to be careful about initially was trying to avoid slamming
on the brakes for the first 500 miles or so, giving them a chance to bed in, I guess.

I'd like to have the extra HP the 2.0T has, but with the issues noted in the earlier 2.0T engines, I'll
stick with my 1.8T. I can always chip it, I guess.
