yea, yea, true, but I saw little need to quibble since the first half of Cody's statement is still largely correct, and the more important point, although i would have been specific to tight areas and high rpms that exceed the flow rate when viscosity is still high.

The point remains - thin oil is for cold conditions and can be substituted for with thicker oil and very gentle operation when cold.
