Louis-Alain,
If the switch is the same as in the early Type 44's, in order to pull the
ignition key cylinder you will need to drill the cast aluminum steering
housing to push in the retaining spring which keeps the assembly in the
column. Once released, the assembly will look like:

Notice that the whole assembly, including 2 matching keys is less than 15
bucks US! (Trick is, you'll need to have somebody in the US order the
part....Europarts America is very difficult to order from in Canada IME)
Once you have swapped the ignition cylinder, changing the door, glove box
and trunk locks to work with the ignition keys is relatively easy.
