Bill,

The NF engine is a CIS-E III system and electronically timed.  You put a
spare fuse into the top of the fuel pump relay.  This fixes the timing.
Then you strobe the flywheel with a timing light and adjust the distributor
for 15 Deg BTDC or set the line right on the window's edge marker.  Then you
pull out the fuse.
