Voltage reg?

IME voltage at the cc head is apx 1 volt lower than the reading at the
battery (on my 4th type 44!). Would suppose it's due to voltage drop with-in
the cc circuit and everything else involved in voltage coming forward to the
battery. Would suggest you hook-up a meter to the battery and drive so you
can observe actual volts at the battery! (And compare to cc head!). Suspects
could be alt belt, brushes, bad connections or bad wiring, but wouldn't
imagine the vr should really fluctuate much. then again, stranger things
have happened!
