'96 A6q - spongy brake pedal feel, MC or caliper?

i'd bleed them again. you probably just sucked some air back in the
lines when you bled them the first time. IME audi brakes can be a pita
to bleed out. tap the calipers with a hammer to shake any bubbles
loose as you bleed. id also bleed the old fashioned way [2 ppl]. i
never got my pedal as hard with a one man bleeder [motive included].

if they get better you're on the right track. if not id guess master
cylinder..  before caliper.
