[s-cars] illegal archiving

Andrew,

The point is that they are not just archiving it, but actively
displaying your postings and mine, without permission, to drive traffic
to their site and generate advertising revenue. It's a common business
practice on the internet and it is stealing. No questions about it.

Their business model is to subscribe to the list using an alias
(generally considered a violation of list guidelines) and then posting
every message on their server. They do not ask permission of either the
list owner or of the individual posters who hold copyright to their
work. Answerpot is stealing your intellectual property, violating
copyright law, and benefitting financially.

Are you okay with that?

Lee
