List culled for emails?

I don't know if it has anything to do with the off-site archiving
recently discussed on here or not.  
Did anyone else on the list get an email from "Vanita" evidently from
France, offering a proposition along the lines of the "four spring duck
technique?"  
This is the first time an email of this sort has actually used the Audi
list address as a reference in the body.  I did receive a spoofed Audi
list address in the headers once, but that was many, many moons ago.
Just curious, as there's really not a helluva lot I think we can do about
it, since the archives are public and anyone can get into them.  
Another reminder why you should never use your real name on any of these
BB's or lists.
