016 Transmission rebuild?

Tony,
Given that the early Audi transmissions very rarely fail I'd bet a used
one is a good option. The abuse the list folk put them through is a
pretty good indicator of their strength. In fact these are so readily
available/strong/cheap the kit car folk use them for GT40 replicas and
the like.
I'm running a 400 ft/lb LT-1 motor through a standard 015 using for Ice
and regular track work... no issues in 7 years.
