Seatbelt Wetness Again....

On the Quattroworld forum for Allroads, there has been reporting that the
sunroof tub to which the drains attach can crack, allowing leaking even
when the drains are clean.

I've also read elsewhere that cleaning the drains from above can result in
the drain tube becoming unattached from the drain outlet.

Subject: Seatbelt Wetness Again....

So after a soaking rain yesterday afternoon and night, I checked the rear
passenger's seatbelt, even though I had the sunroof drains
cleaned out. It was wet again. I had taken the car out in the rain
yesterday
afternoon, but in the past, it had gotten wet just standing in
the rain. Nothing else is wet - nothing on the c-pillar trim, nothing in
the
trunk, nothing on the seat or floor... I can't see where any of the
rubber seals around the small fixed rear window are leaking. I am going to
try
and get to the reel this week-end, looks like I have to

remove the c-pillar trim first as the reel cover is tucked under it. But
this is
really strangefor sure.
