Biggest Shadetree Project Yet

After years of thinking about, imagining, investigating, 
hypothesizing, dreaming about upgrading my wife's 20v with a 
turbo...I just bought a donor 89 90Q which had already been upgraded 
to a 20VT from an Audi 200. Unfortunately, this "red rocket" hit 
something and was auctioned off for $1,400. Lucky me!

Now, how do I get it from Wallingford CT to Calgary AB? It's not 
running, (broken intercooler and rad allow it to idle only) so they 
charge more for transit. If I get it to Spokane WA for $1,000, I have 
to pick it up there, a 400 mile journey one way. Has anyone had 
experienced shipping cross border? Using a U-Haul car carrier?

Does anyone know of any resources from others who have gone this way 
and lived to tell the tale?
