Temp issue

Its not looking good for the home team. I changed all of  the sensors in that area since the temperature gauge works intermittenly.  The gauge reads the same and the temp light still blinks at 3/4 temp. When changing those critters there was an unsettling absence of fluids in the neck but the res was full.(*shiver*)

I filled the engine with liquid gold (antifreeze) then reattached the hose and filled every nook and cranny to eliminate air pockets.  It then got worse when anti-wallet/freeze started pushing past the cap after idling for a bit . The gauge read at the top dot of what i think must be its operating temp? It was still gurgling and being a genuine snot.

I thought the fan should of turned on but it didn't and there was no voltage to it. What tells the fan to cool it? Is it a sensor, the ECU or divine intervention?  The fuse is still good. Is the fill cap a vent or do I have a crap cap?

I have a manual for this gem but it is packed in box with other stuff I can't find. Any info or prayers would be appreciated. I am still hoping the head gasket has not took a dump on me.

Good point grant, but I'm not sure that's it.

Either way, its easy to burp the system, you just need to raise the front a bit and open the cap at the highest point there.   So, its a possibly free fix.

Odd, either way.  Could be a sensor malfunction too.

gurgling sounded a  little like maybe you have a bubble in the system and it needs to be bled. The question is: "how did air get in". Of course i am probably wrong, but its a guess.
