This is a deliberate feature which is intended to make radios less
attractive to thieves.  As someone who more than once has had to deal with
repairing a car that has been vandalized I must say THANKS! to "Team
Doorhandle" ... as I've never had any of my cars with newer factory radios
broken into ...
