Pinstripe Removal

I removed painted pin stripes from wife's black BMW (clear coat) with Meguiar's Compound power cleaner #84 http://www.meguiars.com/estore/product_list.cfm?&sectionname=Professional (Mirror Glaze Brand)>Auto Paint Care>Paint Cleaners/Compounds&sectionID=31301 applied with proper wool pad on my high rpm buffer. Then after all paint was removed went over the same area with a new pad using a finer polishing compound, then followed by swirl remover on a fresh foam pad. Finally, a good caranuba wax to finish. Never knew the pinstripe was there. Just be careful when using the courser compounds that you don't remove the color coat.
