UrS4 list and bouncy speedo

  Hi gang, 

Can anyone tell me what the best UrS4 resources are? I've been on this list for ages, but never ventured to seek out others and now need to know about this model.

 Incidentally my own saga of broken odo / bouncy speedo is this, - Odo breaks at 207K and thanks to this list and Huw, I now have the cluster in pieces waiting upon a new gear from the guys in VA. 

Meanwhile I sourced a replacement cluster to keep the car mobile. Interestingly this one has a better functioning Autocheck, but non illuminating digi-time-clock, and the whilst the odo works the speedo's normal mode is bouncy. I say that as very occaisionally it works right, and this coincides with the cruise working normally. 

When in bouncy needle mode the cruise will not latch on. According to Huw's site one of the pins on the speedo is a cruise output, so I wondered if a poor/dirty contact here might cause a reflection of the cruise output to shunt back into the speedo coils and bounce it. BTW my needle bounce has a freq of around 1Hz.

Incidentally I found springing the old needle pointer off was rather destructive - the black center bezel shattered off a bit and there is a pot metal counterwieght that now needs gluing back on. I think I should get a presentable result, but am open to advice on what glue is best to use, and also what methods folks have of removing it with less brute leverage? (as If I ever intend doing this job again!)
