HID conversion

Hi,
This might have been discussed before and I did not pay attention...
But, has anyone done an HID conversion on fog/driving lights?
Results?
I have relayed Euros, so main lights are fine, but want better lighting on  
the side of the road.
Almost hit a deer recently (and would like not to melt my housings with 50W 
 bulbs like I did before) and would like MORE/BETTER light.
