I talked to the owner on the phone

he'll be back Tues.

the 98 Audi Cabriole has about 67,000 or 70,000
miles on it and he says it only needs boots on the CV Joints.

I of course asked about the steering rack, LOL

I ran a car fax and it looks like he indeed did own it for
10 years ... so it doesn't seem to be have driven much.

He has not licensed it for a year - If he did not put
a stabilizer in the gas tank and change the oil
often is that going to be a problem in Phoenix area?

Also he wants $5999 for it, Kelley says anywhere from
6200 - 7000 depending upon shape.

He said he has repair records and I mentioned taking it
to Audi to look at it.   He claims he has had all the work
done at Audi N. Scottsdale and said "You know the dealership
will find everything wrong with it." and I said I have know the
shop foreman for about 8 years and I doubted that.

Your thoughts?

My hubby loves the car.
