Don't give up on the B7 dream! I finally found one, 2005.5 manual avant 2.0t
w/nav, for 16.9k @60k mi. Cosmetically not quite perfect but 36mpg on the
first road trip. Allroads are too heavy & too much stuff to break although
my fiance likes the looks of them. Keep digging,
www.themccumbers.com/States.htm is great for mass trawling of craigslist.

Still working on selling the GTI and 200q though...
