Need to wire up a CEL

Hey folks,

I need to wire up a check engine light for my 84 4000 turbo convert (MC1 Mac11 I believe), but have absolutely no light right now at all. I'll be doing this one from scratch. I understand Pin 11 on my kostal connector is the trigger wire to start the code sequence which I connect to a BUS fuse holder (or trigger) and the ground side of my CEL light bulb in the cluster. Here's the kicker, without having the check engine light in place now, I'm not sure where the positive line of the bulb runs to for the codes to stream from (ECU? Other sensor? what color wire would it be?). 

I checked the fuseblock which no longer houses the fuel pump relay... cant seem to locate that either. I need to dig in to this wiring and track it all down.
