There is nothing about it to understand. People make different choices based
on what they like Some of us like the throttle response of torque and N/A,
some like the rush of RPM's and boost. It's all a matter of what tickles
your fancy. I've drive plenty of high power turbo cars (including a older
911 built much like "Yellow Bird) and love the power. That said, I'd rather
have a lower power n/a engine in my daily driver than 300hp out of a turbo.
There is nothing that can be said to change my mind, it's just a matter of
the feel and response.
But, you don't have to rev high to go fast. Ever watched an Audi R10 TDI?
