Btw, the cluster display can be repaired -- either try contacting

or, if you feel adventurous, do it yourself:

Search the web and you'll also find some talk about keeping
the original display and only adding some tape or somesuch
to apply pressure to the contacts (apparently the display itself
isn't what fails).
