<< I have been away from the list for quite a while so pardon me if this
one has been answered recently. Didn't see it in the archives. My
information display has been failing line by line (yes, I know it's
normal) but I can usually figure out what it is trying to tell me.
This one is complete gibberish. This appears to be a series of
letters, probably forming a word. It doesn't seem to resemble any of
the usual warning symbols and it appears in the space at the top of
the display usually occupied by the large OK. Please click on the
link below to see a .jpg image of the display. The Bentley and the
owners manual were no help. All of the fluid levels are OK and I
don't see any abnormal gauge readings. It displays this almost
immediately upon starting the engine. Any guesses on what this is?
thanks,
Dave

Hard to say for sure. The only clue for me is "almost immediately upon starting
engine" which IME is most commonly a brake light bulb out. Looks more like a
garbled windshield washer fluid icon, but who knows. It is yellow so you can
rule out all the red warnings. Check your brake light bulbs though--might be
that.

HTH and good luck.
