Ignition switch???

If the starter spins, but doesn't engage the flywheel, the tranny interlock has been "satisfied" and is out of the loop.

Is this an automatic? If so, have you tried to start the car in neutral?

Have you checked to see if the starter wire is getting 12v or not?
