Starter Switch

I replaced a starter switch in my '90, a lot of years ago. I did it with
aid of a well documented web article of the replacement in a 200q20v avant.
I only remember the scary part, taking a BFH to give a good whack to the
steering column. This is necessary to free it from the aluminum "V" which
mounts it to the bottom of the dash. It seems to me that was necessary to get
access to the set screws on the switch. On the whole, I recall it as being
easier than replacing the switch in my '87 TQ, mostly because the instrument
cluster was bigger and gave more hand room after removal.

I can't find the article right now, but my memory connects it with Chris
Miller and the old "20 Valve" website.

Oh, break the u-joint at the floor before whacking the coulumn.
