Radiator woes

My 100 Auto with the 85Kw I5 has a little cooler on it like George Selby 
describes, but it isn't supplied from the main radiator, it must be plumbed 
into the heater piping or something, as the pipes come round the back of the 
engine.

I don't see why you couldn;t do the same. It would be a lot better than 
nothing.

On another tack if you don't have a need for the car past the rally and were 
to run wihtout a cooler, then a flush and refill with nice new fluid would 
prolly last the length of the rally without degrading to the point of the 
oil thats prolly in there already.
