Here (USA) add-on AT coolers are common as dirt - people add them in 
front of the radiator on pickup trucks that are going to see hard work. 
  A couple of reinforced bits of hose, a couple hose clamps, and a few 
zip ties and they are in.

Surely such products are available elsewhere?
